This week I’m discussing what Bioptic Driving, or Low Vision Driving, is and who it’s for. This is a very controversial subject within the blind community. It is often covered at conferences and conventions, and is discussed among professionals who work in rehabilitation and education whether it is safe or not. Never-the-less, there are bioptic drivers out there, and it is a legal form of driving in many states. Learn more about how it works, and who it is for!
